- Perform more complex maintenance and repair tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, with minimal supervision.
- Perform repairs to building structures, such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, and windows, using a variety of materials and techniques.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment and system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain and repair grounds, including landscaping, irrigation systems, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance.
- Operate and maintain a wider range of hand and power tools, equipment,



and machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment history.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols meticulously to ensure a safe working environment and comply with all relevant regulations.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and renovations, working independently or as part of a team.
- Provide guidance and training to Facilities Technician I staff on maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Skills

- Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex malfunctions and implement effective repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide other team members.
