WSI — Global Digital Marketing Network
Remote · Full-time
About the chance
WSI has spent three decades building one of the world's largest networks of independent digital marketing agencies — 600+ agencies serving clients in more than 80 countries. We're now making a significant investment in centralized growth infrastructure, and we're hiring the person who will lead it.
This is a newly created role with a clear mandate: own client acquisition performance at network scale. You'll have real budget, direct access to senior leadership, and the autonomy to build the function the way you believe it should be built.
For the right operator, this is the rare combination of a blank sheet of paper and immediate distribution across hundreds of markets.
What you'll own
- Performance. Cost per qualified appointment and cost per acquisition across our paid channels — owning the numbers and driving them down quarter over quarter.
- The testing program. A disciplined pipeline of paid acquisition experiments across channels, offers, creative and audiences, run with enough rigor and duration to produce honest answers.
- Measurement. The tracking, attribution and reporting infrastructure that makes performance visible and comparable.
- External partners and platforms. Evaluating, piloting and managing the providers and technologies that support acquisition, and holding them to measurable outcomes.
- Playbooks. Translating what works into repeatable programs that scale across a large, distributed network.
- Expansion. Extending proven programs to our sister franchise networks in adjacent industries.
- What success looks like Within your first year, you will have established a repeatable acquisition program with a defensible, well-documented cost per qualified appointment, adopted by a meaningful share of the network — and a testing cadence that keeps finding the next winning play as channels shift.
Our industry moves quickly. We're less interested in someone who knows today's best channel than in someone who can reliably find next year's before the market does.
Who we're looking for
You've personally built and run a demand generation function. You've owned a cost-per-opportunity target and moved it with your own hands on the campaigns. You can tell within one conversation whether a platform or partner is quoting you real numbers.
You likely bring
- 5+ years running paid acquisition, either in-house at a B2B company or agency-side for small and mid-market clients
- Hands-on depth across LinkedIn, Meta, Google and outbound — you can build and read a campaign yourself, not just brief someone
- Practical experience with appointment setting or SDR operations, whether you ran the team or designed the process
- Genuine fluency in unit economics: CAC, cost per appointment, cost per sale, LTV,
payback period — and the instinct to distrust a number until you've seen how it was calculated
- Strong analytical judgment and the discipline to kill things that aren't working
- Excellent written and spoken English, and comfort working across North American business hours
- Standouts also bring: experience marketing to small and mid-sized business owners, and a track record of being right about a channel before it was obvious.
Who this suits
This is a build role. You'll be setting direction, making the calls, and doing a good deal of the work yourself in the early going. If you want a defined remit and a predictable quarter, this isn't it. If you've been waiting for a role where the scoreboard is a number you genuinely control, it may be exactly it.
How we work
Remote, with substantial overlap with North American business hours. You'll work directly with senior leadership in a company where decisions get made in days rather than quarters. Compensation is competitive and includes meaningful performance-based upside tied to the results you produce.
How to apply
Send your background along with brief answers to two questions to
[email protected]:
1. What is the lowest cost per qualified appointment you have personally achieved? In what market, at what monthly volume, and how was "qualified" defined?
2. Describe a channel, campaign or partner you shut down. What was the number that convinced you, and how long did it take you to see it?
We read every answer. Applications without them won't be reviewed.
