As a procurement specialist, you’ll be at the heart of the action: anticipating needs, securing materials, collaborating with multiple teams, and stepping in when the unexpected throws a wrench in the works. Your independence, agility, and judgment will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

Plan and ensure the procurement of raw materials and outsourced components from our suppliers and various units
Prioritize procurement based on production needs and commitments to our customers
Work closely with the production, planning, and engineering teams to ensure the availability of materials and components at the right time
Implement procurement strategies to provide optimal visibility to our suppliers in order to secure production for the next 0-24 months
Optimize inventory levels based on the production plan and sales forecasts
Demonstrate initiative and act quickly in response to unforeseen events, proposing solutions aligned with organizational priorities

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

Relevant experience in a similar procurement role

College or university education in administration, procurement management, or operations management; OR any combination of experience and/or education deemed relevant
Proficiency with manufacturing management systems and the ability to quickly learn new tools
Strong analytical skills, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach
Excellent ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment
Autonomy, good judgment, and agility to take action and adapt to the unexpected
