$25.00 – $27.00/hour (based on skills and experience, salary increases per company policy)

Seasonal, Full-time, Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. (10.5 hours per day; hours may vary depending on weather).

Job requirements

- Language: Basic English
- Experience: 4 seasons of related experience or equivalent
- Areas of work: Parks, green spaces, sports fields, environmental reserves, retention ponds, irrigation, maintenance, civil earth moving, horticulture
- Worksite environment: Outdoor, wet, noisy, dusty, hot
- Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Work conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding,



handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player

Duties

- Install and maintain landscape (sod, trees, shrubs, turf, live plant materials, mulch, erosion control measures, etc.)
- Install hardscape (pavers, boulders, retaining walls, etc.)
- Install structures (signs, site furniture, structural art, etc.)
- Work alongside heavy equipment operators and other trades
- General site cleaning and maintenance
- Use of shovels, spades, rakes and other hand tools
- General construction/landscape site work, as needed (e.g., picking up and transporting tools and materials, washing equipment, testing and repairing irrigation systems, minor equipment repairs and maintenance, etc.)
