Role Description The Insurance Broker role is a full-time remote position on commission responsible for advising clients on insurance and related financial products that meet their individual needs. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client risk profiles, recommending appropriate coverage options, preparing quotes, and processing policy applications, renewals, and changes.

Broker will respond to client inquiries, provide ongoing policy support, and help clients understand their coverage, claims procedures, and available product options.
This role also involves building and maintaining long-term client relationships, collaborating with insurance carriers to secure competitive terms, and staying current on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with the ability to analyze coverage needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Knowledge of Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with broader financial protection and long-term planning goals.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-centered approach.
- Relevant provincial insurance licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) and a good understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with digital tools, CRM or brokerage management systems, and remote communication platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills for assessing risk and resolving client issues.
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or financial services environment is an asset.
