What You’ll Accomplish With Us

As Legal Counsel, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to partners across various business areas;
- Conduct legal and regulatory analyses, particularly in insurance and consumer protection, and provide clear, practical recommendations aligned with business needs;
- Support the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes;
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements;
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of products and services, particularly insurance products and warranties;
- Collaborate with business and multidisciplinary teams, as well as Compliance and Risk Management;
- Actively participate in working groups and industry committees;
- Contribute to continuous improvement and organizational transformation initiatives.

What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role We’re looking for someone who:

- Holds a university degree in law and is a member of the Barreau du Québec;
- Has five or more years of relevant legal experience;




- Demonstrates strong business acumen and the ability to turn complex legal matters into practical solutions;
- Shows intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and sound judgment;
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly;
- Takes a collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment;
- Ideally has experience in commercial and contract law, as well as knowledge of insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry;
- Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires frequent oral and written communication with the Dealer Services network across Canada and collaboration with unilingual English-speaking colleagues primarily located in Western Canada.
