Enhance resident care as a part time Registered Practical Nurse with Extendicare, focusing on goal-oriented nursing and patient safety in a supportive environment.

Reporting directly to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse will deliver thoughtful and comprehensive nursing care based on provincial standards. Your responsibilities include clinical assessments, care plan documentation, and medication administration, all while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will also coordinate resident care assignments to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete clinical care assessments for residents
- Administer medications and document care accurately
- Facilitate resident/family education on care plans




- Manage emergency situations and provide first aid
- Coordinate care conferences with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

- Current Registered Practical Nurse registration in province
- Experience in senior's care and rehabilitation environments
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Recent Vulnerable Position Screening certificate
