Job Description
Apotex s seeking a Master Data & Governance Lead to lead the design, implementation, and adoption of a Master Data Governance framework supporting a large-scale SAP IBP Optimization Program.
This individual will serve as the primary owner of planning-related master data readiness and governance, ensuring data is accurate, controlled, and aligned across SAP ECC, SAP IBP, and related planning platforms.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and IT stakeholders to establish governance processes, stewardship models, data quality controls, and sustainable operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the SAP IBP Master Data Governance framework
Establish master data ownership, stewardship, approval workflows, and accountability models
Develop governance policies, standards, controls, and operating procedures
Create and maintain RACI models for master data creation, maintenance, approval, and retirement
Define systems of record and governance processes for planning-related master data
Facilitate governance forums, workshops, and cross-functional decision-making sessions
Lead master data design activities across SAP ECC/S4 and SAP IBP environments
Drive data quality initiatives including profiling, cleansing, remediation, validation, and monitoring
Monitor data quality KPIs and lead root cause analysis efforts
Support testing, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live readiness activities
Ensure synchronization and reconciliation processes between SAP ECC/S4 and SAP IBP
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive organizational adoption of governance practices
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Supply Chain Systems, or ERP implementations
3+ years leading master data workstreams for SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO,
or SAP IBP implementations
Strong experience building and implementing Data Governance Frameworks
Experience establishing data stewardship models, ownership models, governance standards, policies, and procedures
Strong knowledge of Data Quality Management methodologies, controls, and remediation processes
Experience with Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP; data processes
Experience facilitating workshops and driving stakeholder alignment across business and IT teams
Experience with end-to-end project lifecycle activities including: Design
Data Migration
Testing
Cutover
Go-Live Support
Solid communication and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Data Management, or related field
Direct SAP IBP implementation experience
Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience
Global manufacturing environment experience
Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
SAP certifications
Data Governance certifications (CDMP, DGSP, etc.)
SAP S/4HANA migration experience
