Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP/AR)

Location: 103 Manville Rd, Scarborough, ON

Position: Full-Time

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented AP/AR professional to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, following up on outstanding accounts, and supporting the overall accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and record vendor invoices and payments
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances
- Follow up on overdue customer accounts and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with payment schedules, expense tracking, and month-end activities
- Communicate professionally with vendors and customers regarding invoices and payments
- Support management with accounting reports and other financial tasks as required





Qualifications
- Previous AP/AR or accounting experience is required
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
