Advisor Asset Management Peel Housing Corporation Human Services - Peel Housing Corporation

Status: Contract Full Time - 18 Months

Salary Range: Non Union Salary Band I

Hiring Range: $105, 754- $118,974 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits and vacation accrual)

Work Mode: Hybrid; 2 On site days per week which can increase based on operational needs *see below for more details about this work mode.

Location: 7120 Hurontario St. Mississauga, ON and travel to various Peel Housing Corporation sites across Peel Region required

Hours of work: 35 Hours per week

Who we are: Peel Housing Corporation (PHC) provides secure, affordable housing to over 17,000 tenants across 69 residential properties within the Region of Peel. Peel Living is the largest community housing provider within Peel, representing half of the affordable units within the Region. Peel Living remains committed to building inclusive communities and improving quality of life for tenants across the Region of Peel.

Reports to: Manager Planning & Performance Peel Housing Corporation

What you will do in this role:

- Lead the implementation, rollout, stabilization, and ongoing integration of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) technology tool for the division - Maximo
- Facilitate the development and continuous improvement of business processes, procedures, and strategies that support asset management, data management, financial sustainability, business efficiency, and the division’s future vision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business partners to support integration and connectivity with corporate technology initiatives, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Housing Technology systems.
- Define and maintain asset condition data, asset lifecycle methodologies, levels of service, performance criteria, and asset/service risk frameworks to support effective service delivery and informed decision-making.
- Lead and facilitate asset risk assessments, analyze complex data and reports, and develop recommendations that influence service delivery, operational priorities, and strategic direction.
- Apply expert knowledge of asset management principles and organizational strategy to align asset management practices with business and operational requirements.
- Conduct complex research, problem-solving, and analysis activities, exercising independent judgment and decision-making to resolve issues and advance organizational objectives.
- Provide specialized technical advice and clearly communicate complex analysis, recommendations, and information to senior leaders, stakeholders, project teams, and department representatives through effective written, verbal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Define scopes of work and terms of reference and manage specialized studies and projects involving internal staff and external consultants.
- Lead project teams and ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes, asset management plans, strategies, tasks, and organizational objectives.
- Interpret and apply corporate policies to resolve issues and support effective decision-making.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous learning,



inclusive leadership practices, and proactive bias management.

What the role requires:

- A satisfactory Level 1 Criminal Record Check obtained directly from a police station (third-party background checks will not be accepted).
- Must possess a professional designation in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Studies or facility management or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 5 years of related work experience, preferably in municipal environment.

- Maximo implementation experience
- Excellent knowledge of asset management principles and practices
- Highly knowledgeable of municipal infrastructure in particular Affordable Housing and its operations
- Highly knowledgeable of municipal financing

Skills/Abilities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to identify and respond quickly to emerging issues
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be an effective team player
- Excellent negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Projects
- Must have strong initiative and communication skills,
- Capable of working independently, adaptable, flexible, tactful and capable of working well with people in challenging situations.
- Strong knowledge of municipal and affordable housing infrastructure, project management, and finance is necessary.

A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve.
