Your New Role

As an AI Solution Architect, you will be a senior individual contributor within the Solutions Architecture team, responsible for designing, documenting, and delivering solution-level architecture for initiatives requiring AI, agentic, and machine learning capabilities.

You will translate business requirements into practical solution designs, defining application architecture, integration patterns, cloud services, data flows, security controls, and technology selections for strategic programs and projects. Unlike enterprise architecture roles focused on standards and governance, this position is centred on solving specific business and technology challenges while ensuring alignment with established enterprise frameworks.

Working across multiple concurrent initiatives, you will architect AI and agentic solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and, where required, Google Cloud Platform technologies. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Cyber Security, AI Centres of Excellence, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and ready for production.

Key responsibilities include

- Designing end-to-end AI, agentic, application, and integration architectures for enterprise initiatives.
- Creating architecture deliverables including component diagrams, sequence diagrams, integration models, data flow diagrams,



and technical design documents.
- Defining API-driven, event-driven, and cloud-native integration patterns.
- Architecting AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and related technologies.
- Designing stateful, multi-agent workflows utilizing LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith.
- Developing secure AI solution patterns including RBAC, managed identities, private networking, observability, guardrails, and governance controls.
- Evaluating emerging AI platforms, tools, and vendors through proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Presenting architecture designs to governance forums and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Providing technical mentorship and guidance to development teams, analysts, and other architects.
- Supporting strategic programs involving customer data, integration modernization, AML, risk, finance, and treasury platforms.

You'll Need to Succeed

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years focused on solution, application, or integration architecture.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions from architecture through implementation.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, API Management, Azure AI Search, networking, managed identities, and enterprise integration services.
- Experience architecting AI and agentic solutions within Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform environments, including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Builder, Agent Engine, and BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LangSmith,



and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
- Deep understanding of retrieval augmented generation (RAG), AI gateways, vector databases, prompt orchestration, and multi-agent architectures.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns including microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native application design.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, IAM, networking, private endpoints, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience integrating enterprise solutions with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Power BI, or BigQuery.
- Working knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, and regulatory considerations within highly regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting architecture solutions to technical governance and executive stakeholders.
- Financial services or banking industry experience is strongly preferred.

- Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer
- Related cloud or AI architecture certifications
