Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages, including children
- Deliver a wide range of dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canals, and preventive care with precision and compassion
- Utilize advanced dental technology including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for restorative procedures and digital imaging tools for accurate diagnostics
- Manage patient records efficiently using practice management software such as Epic or Dentrix to ensure seamless documentation and follow-up
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive measures tailored to their individual needs
- Collaborate with dental hygienists,
assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations while demonstrating proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dental practice
Experience
- Proven experience/ New grad working in a busy dental office environment with a focus on delivering quality patient care
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes
- Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable to effectively treat younger patients
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in using CAD systems for designing restorations or prosthetics is preferred
- Knowledge of current best practices in dentistry combined with excellent communication skills to educate and reassure patients
