Part-Time After-School Nanny / Family Assistant

4 Afternoons/Evenings per Week | 3:00 PM Start | Immediate Start

We are a busy, active family looking for a reliable, energetic and organized Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to help with our two school-aged daughters and keep our busy after-school routine running smoothly.

Our daughters are active in extracurricular sports, particularly gymnastics and dance, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is comfortable managing a busy after-school schedule.

Schedule

- 4 days per week
- Start time: approximately 3:00 PM
- Afternoon/evening hours
- Immediate start available

What You'll Do The primary focus of this position is helping with our children's after-school routine and transportation to activities.

Responsibilities include

- Meet the children when they arrive home from school
- Prepare healthy after-school snacks and simple meals
- Help the children get organized and ready for extracurricular activities
- Pack snacks, water bottles, clothing and activity equipment
- Drive the children to gymnastics, dance and other activities
- Help with homework and school projects when needed
- Prepare simple family/children's meals
- Kitchen clean-up after meals
- Children's laundry and organization
- Light housekeeping related to the children and household
- Help keep children's bedrooms, activity gear and common areas organized
- Maintain a safe, positive and supportive environment





What We're Looking For

- Comfortable preparing simple meals and snacks
- Comfortable helping with light household tasks
- A confident and safe driver
- Able to commit consistently to 4 afternoons/evenings per week

Driving Is an Essential Requirement

Because transportation to extracurricular activities is an significant part of this position, applicants must have:

- A valid driver's licence
- Their own reliable vehicle
- Appropriate automobile insurance
- A safe driving record
- Willingness to transport children and use/install appropriate child safety/booster seats as required
