Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using professional cake decorating techniques
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas to meet health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions




- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and decorating tools
- Package finished products carefully for retail display or delivery

Qualifications

- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience including food industry familiarity is preferred
- Basic cooking skills and experience with food packaging are advantageous
- A passion for baking, creativity in decorating, and dedication to quality craftsmanship are essential
