Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with accuracy and flair.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Manage cash handling duties, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed,



including assembling sandwiches or snacks.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

- Previous food service experience or barista experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers accurately.
- Experience with food handling and safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without sacrificing quality or service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude throughout shifts.
