Position Summary Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Health Worker to join our team at Barriere Health Centre in Barriere, BC. If delivering patient-centered care is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and currently living in the Barriere area and interested in working in a dynamic, quick-paced environment.

Workers provide home support services to clients,



by assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence.

Workers are key players in the home health care plan for each client. Activities of daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and oral hygiene Performing delegated tasks according with training and procedures This is a Casual opportunity.

Casual

Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Barrière summons travelers and future residents with its rustic charm and outdoor allure amidst the breathtaking landscape of British Columbia’s southern interior. Gather with locals and visitors alike to experience the vibrant spirit of the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo, an annual celebration held every Labour Day weekend for over 70 years.

History enthusiasts can uncover the region's past at the North Thompson Museum, while adventure seekers can embark on thrilling white-water rafting excursions on the North Thompson River. Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Home Support Worker Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry (please include your number)
