Support Worker - Stoke House Working Pattern: 37 hours rolling across 5 days, weekends and bank holidays included.

Expected Length of Contract: 12 weeks temp, possibility for permanent.

Deliver Tailored Support: Provide responsive, person-centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.

Foster Collaboration: Build open and trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure seamless and comprehensive support. Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.

Manage Risks Effectively: Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.

You will be working 5 days per week, on a rolling 4 week rota, Monday to Sunday between 8am and 9pm.

This role will be based at our Stoke House service in Penryn. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups, and expect all colleagues to share this commitment. To be successful in your application for the role of Support Worker, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role and the following role specific skills and experience: Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.

Have experience of risk assessing and risk management. Have accurate record keeping and computer skills. Have a flexible working approach to work.

Working Style: Hybrid working with 2 - 3 days in the office to support your work/life balance. Start with 26 days, plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with length of service - and the option to purchase up to 5 extra days (pro rated for part time roles).
