About the Role

Are you a dependable, high-energy individual who takes pride in a job well done? The Big Box is looking for a dedicated Cleaning & Maintenance Team Member to help us provide a safe, sparkling-clean, and welcoming environment for families of all ages.

We are a 7-day-a-week operation, and this role is critical to ensuring our guests have a superior experience every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities

- Playground Safety: Clean and sanitize large play structures during operational hours to ensure a germ-free environment for kids.
- Facility Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections and cleaning of washrooms and common areas.
- Event Support: Efficiently clean and reset party rooms to ensure they are ready for the next celebration.
- Waste Management: Regularly empty garbage bins and safely dispose of waste in the designated outdoor enclosure.
- Team Support: Assist with general daily operations as needed to keep the facility running smoothly.





Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or maintenance work is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays. (The facility is open year-round).
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Attributes: High energy, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
