TLC Medicine is looking for a warm, reliable, and outgoing Casual Clinical Care Coordinator to support our acupuncture and integrative medicine clinic during busier periods, staff absences, and occasional community events.

This is not a full-time or regularly scheduled position. It is a flexible backup role for someone who enjoys being part of a supportive clinic team and can be available to step in when we need extra help. Hours will vary based on clinic needs and your availability, and there are no guaranteed minimum weekly hours.

About the Role

As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will help support a smooth, warm, and organized patient experience when the clinic is especially busy. You may greet patients, answer phones, assist with appointment flow, prepare treatment rooms, help with administrative tasks, and support the practitioner as needed.

Your friendly attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in where needed will help ensure that every patient feels cared for from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Do Depending on the day and clinic needs, responsibilities may include:

- Greet and engage with patients, making them feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
- Answer phones, assist with appointment scheduling, and handle basic patient inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
- Help coordinate patient flow and treatment-room turnover so appointments run smoothly, even when schedules shift unexpectedly.
- Assist the practitioner with non-clinical and patient-support tasks, following clinic training, protocols, privacy requirements, and direction.
- Support administrative tasks, patient follow-up, and occasional marketing or lead-follow up activities.




- Help keep the clinic clean and welcoming, including light cleaning such as wiping down surfaces, tidying, sweeping, or restocking.
- Represent TLC Medicine at occasional community events, if available. Rare weekend commitments may arise.

Schedule and Compensation

- This is a casual, on-call backup position for busy clinic days, staff absences, and occasional events. Shifts will be offered based on clinic needs and your stated availability.
- No minimum weekly hours are guaranteed.
- Daytime availability is significant.
- Starting pay is from CA$19.00 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities.
- This position may be well suited to someone looking for adaptable supplementary work rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
- As the clinic grows, there may be opportunities for additional shifts or expanded responsibilities; however, this is not guaranteed.
