Become a vital part of the Mental Health Crisis Response team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, B.C. This full time relief position focuses on supporting clients with mental health and substance use challenges. We are looking for a compassionate Community Mental Health Worker 2 who excels in interpersonal communication and adopts a client-centered approach.

You will provide psychosocial rehabilitation, advocacy, and support while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and adaptability in community settings are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide supportive counseling and guidance to clients
- Develop psychosocial rehabilitation plans and objectives
- Facilitate life skills development for clients
- Advocate for client needs in various settings

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education with relevant diploma
- Two years experience in mental health or substance use
- Valid B.C. Driver's License (Class 5)
- Strong trauma-informed communication abilities
