Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cook/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team! Duties

- Prepare a variety of menu items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems with accuracy and speed
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dining space, and cashier stations through regular sanitation and organization
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities

Requirements





- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for effective transactions
- Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of food handling safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures, kitchen safety, and proper food storage practices
- Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
