Operations & Environmental Services The Crossing Guard is responsible for the protected crossing of pedestrians of all ages at designated crossing locations throughout the Town of Ajax. This role will also provide customer service to all using the crossing and to be aware at all times, the activity at the crossing to ensure the safety of pedestrians. Provide customer service to the pedestrians and the public - Champion of safety in the community on behalf of the Town of Ajax Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public - Able to work independently without supervision - We offer competitive pay that reflects the responsibilities of the position.

- School Crossing Guards work during the school year (September - June, excludes holidays and PA days) and must be available to work shifts between the hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday, exact times are based on crossing guard location, but range from 2 to 4.5 hours per day.
