Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process payments efficiently with cash handling skills.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Support food industry best practices by practicing proper sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and smooth operations.
- Help with food handling and basic math calculations related to orders, bills, and change.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling enhances your ability to manage transactions confidently.
- Good understanding of basic math skills necessary for accurate billing and change management.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Prior experience in serving or food industry roles will help you excel in this dynamic position.
