Duties

- Lead and supervise all aspects of dispensary operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they meet performance standards and provide outstanding support to customers.
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, pricing, and promotional displays that attract shoppers and increase sales.
- Manage purchasing and inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately to ensure financial integrity.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; ensure smooth cashiering processes.
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote the dispensary’s offerings within the community and through digital channels.
- Enforce store policies,



health & safety regulations, and legal compliance related to cannabis or medicinal products.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Maintain organizational skills to streamline store operations efficiently while fostering a team-oriented setting.

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management environments.
- Strong background in recruiting, training & development of staff members.
- Demonstrated expertise in merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices.
- Knowledge of inventory purchasing processes and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage customers effectively.
- Prior experience in the retail cannabis industry or regulated product environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills combined with time management capabilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
