About the Role

Buro Spect supplies qualified technical inspection personnel to third-party inspection companies, EPC contractors and industrial service providers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector / Electrical TPI to witness a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and carry out the inspection in accordance with the approved ITP and client requirements.

Assignment Details

- Equipment: Partial Discharge Monitoring System (PDMS) for Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB)
- Supplier / Manufacturer: Iris Power LP
- Inspection type: FAT
- Dates: 20-Oct-2026 to 23-Oct-2026 (4 man-days)
- Location: 3110 American Drive, Mississauga, ON L4V 1T2, Canada

Responsibilities

- Witness the FAT and inspect the PDMS in line with the approved ITP and client specifications
- Verify test procedures, test results and acceptance criteria
- Review FAT documentation, test records and certificates
- Identify and record non-conformances and raise them with the supplier and client
- Prepare and submit a explicit inspection report on completion

Requirements





- Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or TPI witnessing FATs
- Experience with electrical monitoring systems, switchgear / GCB, partial discharge systems and electrical testing
- Able to read and follow ITPs, datasheets, drawings and test procedures
- Familiarity with FAT documentation and inspection reporting
- Relevant technical qualification or certifications (electrical engineering degree or diploma, inspector certifications)
- Fluent in English, with good report-writing skills
- Available for all 4 days
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to Have

- Experience with rotating machine or generator monitoring systems
- Experience inspecting for power generation or industrial clients
