We are hiring an Executive Protection Officer. Most of the work is close protection for the company founder, senior executives, and diplomats or official guests visiting Calgary. You will also cover facility watch at our Calgary production and training site when not tasked on a detail.

Our company designs and builds advanced UAV systems for defence and commercial clients so security screening is mandatory. An offer is conditional on passing company screening and on being eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance.

What you will do

- Provide close protection for the founder during local movements, meetings, events, and domestic or international travel.
- Protect senior executives and visiting diplomats or official guests while they are in Calgary and moving with the company.
- Plan routes, arrivals, departures, and venue advances. Coordinate with hotels, venues, and drivers.
- Drive or ride as the protection officer on principal movements. Maintain situational awareness in vehicles, lobbies, meetings, and public venues.
- Screen and manage access around the principal. Control who gets close during meetings, site visits, and events.
- Cover facility watch between details: gate and door access, perimeter checks, CCTV and alarm monitoring, visitor and contractor control, and shift reports.
- Write advance notes, daily logs, and incident reports. Brief the next officer at handover.
- Protect schedules, routes, guest identities, and site information. No photos. No discussion of movements or visitors outside the protection team.

Security screening Employment is conditional on successful screening. We will verify identity, work history, references, and right to work in Canada. You must be eligible for a Government of Canada Reliability Status,



and for Secret / Top Secret clearance where the assignment requires it.

Clearance must be maintained for the role to continue.

Requirements

- Valid Alberta security service worker licence, with bodyguard authorized, or the ability to obtain it before start. Licence must be carried on duty.
- Eligible to work in Canada. Canadian citizen or permanent resident preferred
- Valid Canadian passport, able to travel on short notice, including internationally.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean abstract.
- Fluent in English. Arabic or French is an asset.
- Physically fit enough for long days on foot and in vehicles, including nights and irregular hours.
- Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and follow site security rules.

Preferred
- Prior executive protection, close protection, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience.
- Advance-work or protective-driving experience.
- Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with diplomats, government officials, or defence clients.
- An existing Reliability Status or Secret clearance, or recent eligibility.
- Based in Calgary, or able to relocate.
