First Class Chief Power Engineer & Environmental Manager Nestled on the edge of Lake Winnipeg, Crown Royal’s distillery in Gimli, Manitoba is home to 1.696 million barrels of delicious whisky that sit aging and waiting to be share with the world. Oversee powerhouse operations (boilers, steam, water systems, and utilities). Plan shutdowns, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance. Optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Environmental Management Manage environmental programs (air, water, waste, GHGs). Ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits. Lead audits and regulatory reporting. Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure required training and certifications.

Continuous Improvement Identify and lead energy efficiency and emission reduction projects. Track performance standards and recommend improvements.

Valid 1st Class Power Engineer certification (mandatory)

5–10 years of experience in an industrial environment

Experience in team leadership and regulatory compliance

Assets Higher education in engineering or environmental field

SALARY RANGE IS FROM $92,250 TO $153,750 (ANNUAL) At Diageo certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual incentive payment and stock awards.
