Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer with demonstrated experience designing, developing, and integrating AI-enabled applications, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, agent-based workflows, document processing solutions, and human-in-the-loop review and approval processes.

The role will support the development of an AI-enabled platform that combines AI agents and user workflows to accelerate content development while keeping subject matter experts responsible for decisions and approvals.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and support AI-powered applications and workflows.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Translate technical specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write, test, debug, and maintain application code.
- Develop and integrate AI agents into a secure web-based platform.
- Develop APIs and application services that support AI capabilities, document processing, and workflow automation.
- Implement human-in-the-loop workflows that allow users to review, validate, and approve AI-generated content.
- Resolve technical issues and provide support during implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Full Stack Development and Solution Architecture - 45%

- Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise web applications.
- Experience with front-end and back-end development using modern development frameworks and design patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable application architectures.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, application services, and middleware components.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services.
- Experience working with relational databases, data modelling, SQL, and data integration solutions.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining application code.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience developing AI-enabled applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, or AI platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge retrieval, and document processing solutions.
- Experience developing and integrating AI agents and multi-step workflow solutions.




- Experience implementing human-in-the-loop workflows that support review, validation, and approval processes.
- Experience implementing source traceability, output validation, and auditability features.
- Experience working with Azure services such as Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), authentication, and authorization controls.
- Understanding of Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and contemporary web development practices.

Agile Delivery and Technical Collaboration - 25%

- Experience working within Agile product delivery teams.
- Experience participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and backlog items.
- Experience estimating effort and breaking work into implementable increments.
- Experience collaborating with business analysts, UX designers, architects, QA resources, and product owners.
- Experience documenting technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation approaches.
- Experience supporting MVP delivery and iterative product enhancement.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar delivery and backlog management tools.
- Experience contributing to DevOps practices, release management, and continuous improvement activities.
- Experience supporting technical discovery, proof-of-concepts, and validation activities.

Security, Privacy and Quality Engineering - 20%

- Experience designing secure applications and services using security-by-design principles.
- Experience implementing role-based access controls, separation of duties, and audit logging.
- Experience designing solutions that protect sensitive information and comply with privacy requirements.
- Experience implementing secure handling of documents, uploads, notifications, and generated content.
- Experience building applications that prevent unauthorized access and information disclosure.
- Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and operational support capabilities.
- Experience conducting unit testing, integration testing,



and supporting user acceptance testing.
- Experience conducting code reviews and applying software quality assurance practices.
- Experience designing and developing accessible applications that comply with AODA and WCAG requirements.
- Experience supporting production deployments, issue resolution, and ongoing application maintenance.

Communication, Facilitation and Delivery Coordination - 10%

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Experience collaborating with business, product, UX, accessibility, privacy, and security teams.
- Experience facilitating technical discussions, design walkthroughs, and solution reviews.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Experience presenting technical concepts, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
