About Us

Alliston Millpond Family Pharmacy Compounding Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy with a busy non-sterile compounding practice serving patients, physicians, nurse practitioners, naturopaths, and veterinarians across the region. We are looking for an experienced compounding team member to join our close-knit team.

The Role

Prepare non-sterile compounded medications (creams, capsules, suspensions, troches, and more) following established SOPs, master formulation records, and NAPRA standards.

Responsibilities

Compound non-sterile preparations accurately according to formulation records

Complete compounding logs, batch records, and required documentation

Weigh, measure, and verify ingredients; perform in-process and final checks

Maintain cleanliness of compounding areas and equipment; follow cleaning and PPE protocols

Monitor and organize compounding inventory and chemical stock

Work with pharmacists and the compounding supervisor to ensure quality and patient safety

Support general pharmacy workflow, including but not limited to prescription entry, packaging, answering phone calls,



compliance packaging.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy compounding experience (required)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Team player with good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude

Able to work independently and manage time in a fast-paced environment

Assets

Formal compounding training from PCCA or Medisca

Familiarity with NAPRA non-sterile compounding standards

What We Offer

$28.00+/hour, depending on experience

Quarterly performance-based bonus

Full time, 40 hours per week
