Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are tidy, well-maintained, and inviting.
- Follow established procedures for handling linens, cleaning chemicals, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, folding, and storing linens or uniforms.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
