Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Supervisor, where you will lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is vital in ensuring optimal indoor climate control, safety, and operational efficiency across various facilities. As a supervisor, you will coordinate skilled technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications.
Your mechanical expertise and leadership will drive excellence in HVAC operations, contributing to a comfortable and safe environment for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation activities to ensure timely and high-quality work.
- Coordinate with contractors and team members to plan projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Review technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to guide troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, appliances, and related mechanical components to identify issues proactively.
- Oversee the use of welding, plumbing, and mechanical tools to perform repairs or modifications as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, system performance logs, and maintenance schedules.
- Train and mentor technicians on best practices in HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, appliance repair, and construction-related tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC mechanic or technician with a strong background in mechanical systems maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising maintenance teams or construction crews.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, VRF, heat pump, boilers, furnace, plumbing techniques, welding procedures, and schematics reading.
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair and general construction projects related to building systems.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing troubleshooting complex issues across HVAC units, boilers, and related equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing mechanical work environments.
- Previous roles requiring schematics interpretation and mechanical troubleshooting are highly desirable.
