We are seeking the following experienced team:
Respiratory Therapists,
Critical Care RN,
Advanced Care Paramedic,
to join our permanent aeromedical transport team.
Successful candidates will provide high quality care to critically ill and injured patients during interfacility transfers as part of a multidisciplinary Air Medical Crew consisting of healthcare professionals including RNs, ACPs, Respiratory Therapists, and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and continuous monitoring during patient transport.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Air Medical Crew, including RNs, Advanced Care Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, and physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards of clinical care throughout transport.
- Assist with the management of critically ill and medically complex patients during interfacility transfers.
- Participate in ongoing training, simulation, and career development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Current professional registration in good standing with the applicable regulatory body.
- Ability to obtain and maintain registration with applicable provincial or territorial regulatory colleges as required for the position.
- Previous medical transport or aeromedical experience is an asset.
- Experience working with critically ill or medically complex patients is strongly valued.
Certifications
Required: BLS and ACLS
Assets: PALS, NRP, PHTLS/ITLS, and Indigenous cultural awareness training.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $98,000–$123,500 annually, based on experience and role.
- Additional compensation: $20,000–$30,000 annually through daily per diem and paid travel days.
- Vacation and holiday pay: $9,000–$12,000 annually.
