Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their shopping experience
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities and promote specials




- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving, cashiering, and food prep tasks

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and advanced cash handling
