Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our agile team. In this role, you will support the kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us serve outstanding meals efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients for dishes.
- Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal assembly.
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and adhering to food handling regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Support the serving team by preparing plates or dishes for presentation and delivery.




- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies in accordance with food safety standards.
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels.

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations or the food industry will support your success in this role.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and service teams.
