Agape ECS is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and skilled Kindergarten Teacher to join our team as a maternity leave replacement. The position would be from December 2026-December 2o27.
The teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the Alberta Kindergarten Program and Agape ECS’s philosophy and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Follow and support the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum and applicable ECS requirements
- Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
- Develop learning goals and activities based on children’s individual strengths, interests and needs
- Maintain accurate classroom and child documentation
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team
