Masa Mama is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We’re a modern taqueria in Marda Loop serving tacos and Mexican-inspired food with influences that wander well beyond Mexico when something tastes good enough. We make things properly, care about the details, and like working with people who do the same.

This is a hands-on kitchen position in a busy, casual restaurant. We’re looking for someone reliable, organized and comfortable working at pace while maintaining consistency and quality.

What you’ll be doing:

- Working the line during lunch and dinner service
- Preparing and cooking menu items to spec
- Daily prep and station setup
- Maintaining consistency, portioning and presentation
- Keeping your station clean, organized and properly stocked
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
- Receiving and putting away product as required
- Working closely with the rest of the kitchen and FOH team
- Helping wherever needed to keep service moving

What we’re looking for:

- Previous professional kitchen experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
- Reliable and punctual




- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Able to work independently while still being a good teammate
- Interested in food and learning
- Available evenings and weekends
- A good attitude. Kitchens are hard enough without making them harder for each other.

Compensation: $18–20/hour + tips
