Experienced Line Cook

MEXIKAN – Mexican Grill & Cocktail Bar | Edmonton, AB

MEXIKAN is a busy and growing Mexican restaurant in Edmonton, and we are looking to add an experienced Line Cook to our kitchen team.

We have built a solid and steadily growing customer base and are looking for a dependable cook who can maintain our standards for quality, consistency and efficient service.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of professional line-cook experience
- Experience with grill, griddle and fryer
- Strong food-prep and knife skills
- Able to work efficiently during busy service
- Able to follow recipes, portions and plating standards consistently
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Mexican or Latin cuisine experience is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items, complete daily prep, maintain a clean and organized station, follow restaurant recipes and portion standards, and assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
