Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mason/Bricklayer Lead Hand to help oversee and coordinate masonry projects in office. In this role, you will help lead a small team of masons, ensuring that all bricklaying, stonework, and restoration tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Duties

- Help lead and supervise a small team of masons (1-3 people), assigning tasks and monitoring work progress to meet project deadlines.
- Perform skilled masonry tasks including bricklaying, stonework, restoration, and renovation projects with precision.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project scope is met effectively.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction with a strong focus on masonry or bricklaying; previous leadership experience is preferred.




- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction sites and masonry work.
- Strong communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with other tradespeople.

Physical ability to perform demanding manual labor including lifting heavy materials for extended periods.

Job details

Working alongside small crew, general knowledge and skill in all aspects of masonry work.

(Brick, CMU, Stone, Restoration, Scaffold building, building envelope etc)

Company truck and fuel card provided for qualified applicant.

Red seal certified preffered but not required.

Benefits after 1 month of employment.

Must have valid drivers license.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
