Our Scarborough client, an industry leader in designing and manufacturing retail displays, is looking for a Welder to join their growing team! Temporary/Contract (Ongoing Assignment) Full Time hours Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings based on project requirements Create, follow, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) Grind, deburr, and finish welded components to meet appearance and quality requirements Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications Identify and report material defects and equipment issues Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks Follow all ISO, OHSA, company quality,



and safety standards Minimum 2 years of Welding experience Ability to troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship Bonus Qualifications: CWB Certification (asset) Laser welding experience (asset) Experience working in a custom fabrication, display manufacturing, or fixture manufacturing environment (asset) Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm Pay Rate: $22-25 per hour all reasonable accommodations will be made for people with disabilities.
