Coordinate equipment and tool recertification and repair
Facilitate delivery of tools to 521
Contact appropriate vendor to begin repair process
Provide yearly POs to shipping department for all vendors
Receive quotes for repairs and contact Dow for approval
Contact vendor for course of action
Issuing Dow owned equipment and tools
Receive requests through phone and email
Issue items from 521 and also deliver
Maintain the organization and control of the lockup at 521
Inspect Equipment and tools for damage
Provide quotes for specialty products
Contact vendor for quote and deliver to appropriate Dow staff
Investment Recovery
Facilitate metal bin pickups across site
Organize drop-off of all project and new bin requirements
Escort trucks for pickup/drop-off
Handle scale tickets, work with investment recovery designate for processing
House Keeping
Sweeping areas clean
Garbage removal
Health and Safety
Daily FLHA/PTA cards
Bi-Weekly safety meeting attendance
Weekly hazard ID cards
On-time completion of all Dow required courses (Diamond Learning)
Read, understand, and follow Vallen's health, safety, and workplace policies and all applicable OH&S; legislation/regulations
Actively participate in Vallen's health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections
Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses
Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements
Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks
Other duties as required.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Minimum 1-3 years of related experience, preferable in an Industrial/construction environment
