Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, assisting with procurement, and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Maintain accurate inventory records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track parts and supplies.
- Procure parts and materials as needed, ensuring timely availability for operations.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage stock levels and optimize inventory turnover.
- Assist in the fabrication of parts when necessary, applying mechanical knowledge to support production needs.
- Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and order processing.
- Operate forklifts safely to move parts and materials within the warehouse or dealership environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications.




- Support dealership operations by ensuring that all parts are organized, labeled, and easily accessible.

Skills

- Proficiency in Lightspeed and other inventory management systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding part specifications and applications.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
