Empower Physiotherapy

Richmond

See one patient at a time, build a full caseload from steady referrals, and leave the booking and billing to our front desk. Empower Physiotherapy in Steveston Village is adding a physiotherapist to our team.

About Us

Empower Physiotherapy is a boutique, physiotherapist-owned clinic focused on one-to-one, evidence-informed care. Since opening in 2013, we've built a strong reputation in the community through quality care and meaningful relationships. Our clinic is in Steveston Village in Richmond, surrounded by trails, water and an active community, which makes it a great place to live and work.

The Chance

This is a permanent position, full time or part time, starting in November 2026. Days are flexible, and we ask for at least three consistent days a week. Shifts are mornings (7:00 am to 1:00 pm) or evenings (1:30 to 7:30 pm). We welcome both new graduates and experienced clinicians, and we can shape the role around your interests and long-term goals.

What This Role Looks Like

- One-to-one treatment sessions with a diverse MSK caseload
- 45-minute assessments and follow-ups of 30 minutes or more
- A full caseload built from steady referrals, primarily private
- Room to build a niche, such as sport, vestibular rehabilitation or pelvic health, with mentors on our team in these areas
- Mentorship from our clinic director, including a weekly one-hour session for new graduates

What You'll Love Here

- Full admin support, so you can focus on patient care
- Flexible scheduling that supports balance and sustainability
- Strong mentorship and clinical support
- A positive, team-oriented culture
- Marketing support to grow your caseload and your specialty area

What We Offer

- Compensation:

42% to 50% of collected clinical revenue as a commissioned employee, based on experience
- At a full caseload of about 27 treating hours in a 30-hour week, that works out to about $119,000 to $142,000 a year, plus vacation pay
- Paid vacation, statutory holidays, sick days, employer CPP contributions and allowances add roughly 8 points to your split, so 42% to 50% as an employee is comparable to about 50% to 58% as a contractor, with no rent
- Contractor option for experienced clinicians who prefer it: 50% to 60%, with monthly rent of up to $375 plus GST
- New graduates: 42% commission from day one, with a guaranteed minimum of $46 per scheduled hour for your first three months while your caseload builds, and a $1,000 bonus after 12 months
- Vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and five paid sick days after 90 days
- $1,000 annual professional development allowance and a $1,000 health spending account (eligibility applies)
- Team learning sessions
- Private treatment rooms and modern systems (JaneApp)

Who You Are

- Licensed in BC as a physiotherapist, or eligible to be licensed
- Available at least three consistent days a week
- IMS or dry needling certification is an asset, not a requirement
- Keen to keep growing clinically, whether you are in your first year or your fifteenth
