Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipe Fitter to join our dynamic team within the oil and gas industry. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used in extraction, processing, and transportation operations. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and safety of complex piping networks, contributing to efficient project execution and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipes using hand tools such as calipers, pipe wrenches, and pipe cutters.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other welding techniques to join pipes securely according to industry standards.
- Install piping systems in accordance with project specifications, ensuring proper alignment and support through rigging procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing piping infrastructure to prevent leaks or failures.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities effectively.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations necessary for pipe fabrication and installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter within the oil and gas or related manufacturing/construction sectors.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics, and plumbing principles.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail.
- Skilled in welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding with certification preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as calipers, pipe wrenches, cutters, and measuring devices.
- Knowledge of rigging practices for lifting and positioning heavy pipes safely.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for pipe measurements and fabrication tasks.
- Experience working with HVAC systems or plumbing is a plus; maintenance background is advantageous.
