Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide skilled massage therapy services to help clients relax, recover, and improve their overall well-being. You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional environment where clients feel valued, supported, and cared for.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or a strong interest in deep tissue, sports massage, and therapeutic/rehabilitative massage techniques. The ideal candidate is confident tailoring treatments to individual client needs and enjoys building long-term relationships with their clients.

Duties

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, deep tissue, sports, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Assess clients’ health history, current concerns, and treatment goals to develop customized therapy plans
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations for post-treatment care, stretching, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and thorough treatment notes, client records, and relevant health information
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort, answer questions, and build lasting therapeutic relationships
- Assist clients with scheduling their future appointments and rebooking at the end of their treatment sessions
- Use Jane confidently for appointment management, client records, treatment notes, and rebooking
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and clinic standards
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development




- Work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
- Collaborate with our Acupuncturists and Manual Osteopath, when requested by the client, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements

- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing or certification body in your region
- Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques, client assessment, and relevant medical terminology
- Experience or a strong interest in deep tissue, sports massage, and/or therapeutic/rehabilitative massage is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create a positive, professional experience for clients
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals
- Comfortable working independently and managing the client experience from treatment through rebooking
- Comfortable using Jane or willing and able to learn the platform quickly
- Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply

Pay: $75.00-$105.00 per hour
