Company Description Zero Gravity Physiotherapy is committed to providing evidence-based, up-to-date health information and individualized care to every patient. The clinic specializes in hands-on, manual physiotherapy, including spinal manipulation, Active Release Therapy, Graston Technique, and acupuncture. In addition, the clinic provides immediate orthopedic surgery referrals through its consulting orthopedic surgeons, supporting comprehensive, coordinated care for patients.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Physiotherapist role based in Welland, ON. The physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver manual therapy interventions such as spinal manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, and therapeutic exercise. Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and educating patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies.

The role also involves collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to a secure, professional, and patient-centered clinic environment.





Qualifications

- Clinical physiotherapy skills: ability to perform comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and apply manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise.
- Manual therapy and specialized techniques: proficiency or strong interest in spinal manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, Active Release Therapy, Graston Technique, and acupuncture (training or certification in any of these is an asset).
- Patient care and communication: strong interpersonal skills, clear patient education abilities, and commitment to providing respectful, inclusive, and individualized care.
- Professional practice: registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial physiotherapy regulatory college, adherence to ethical standards, and excellent documentation skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork: ability to work effectively with orthopedic surgeons and other health professionals, and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary clinic environment.
- Additional assets: experience in orthopedics or sports injuries, continuing education in manual therapy or pain management, and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
