Remote Sales Representative – Automotive Parts

Compensation: Guaranteed $25/hour, with commission earnings paid when they exceed the guarantee

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Saskatchewan time, with a one-hour lunch break. No weekends.

About the Opportunity

Are you good with people, motivated by results, and willing to learn? Southside Auto Wreckers is looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the drive to turn incoming inquiries into sales.

We are a family-owned auto recycling business with over 65 years of experience. With an established flow of customer inquiries, extensive parts inventory, and an experienced team behind you, you’ll have the support and opportunity to build a successful sales career from home.

Automotive knowledge and previous sales experience are assets, but neither is required. We’re willing to teach automotive parts to someone who brings initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

- Answer incoming calls, understand customer needs, and find suitable parts using our inventory system.
- Provide accurate quotes, explain options, and confidently ask for the sale.
- Follow up on quotes and turn inquiries into completed orders.
- Build lasting relationships with repair shops, body shops, dealerships, and individual customers.
- Handle customer concerns professionally, work toward solutions, and issue return authorization numbers when needed.
- Keep accurate customer notes, quotes, and sales records.
- Work closely with our internal team to help orders move smoothly.
- Meet sales and customer service expectations.

Our support staff handle payments, shipping arrangements, paperwork, and credits,



allowing you to focus on customers and sales.

Build Your Customer Base and Your Earnings

Along with handling incoming inquiries, you’ll be encouraged to take initiative by reconnecting with past customers, following up on their needs, and introducing our services to potential new accounts.

Developing repeat business and your own customer relationships gives you more opportunities to grow your sales and increase your earnings.

Who We’re Looking For

- A positive attitude, robust work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- A friendly, professional phone manner and solid listening skills.
- Confidence asking for the sale and following up with customers.
- The ability to stay calm and find solutions when handling complaints.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple calls, quotes, and follow-ups.
- Reliability and self-motivation in a remote work environment.
- Comfort using computers and learning new software.

Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or automotive parts is welcome. We value how you treat customers, respond to feedback, and take initiative.

Compensation and Earning Potential

This position offers an ongoing $25/hour guarantee. When your earned commissions exceed that guarantee, you receive the higher commission earnings. The guarantee and commission are not added together.

We see $60,000–$75,000 annually as a starting earnings target for a capable salesperson,



with the opportunity to earn substantially more as you grow your sales and customer base. Actual earnings depend on performance.

Our commission program rewards parts and warranty sales. Full details will be discussed during the interview process.

The guarantee provides income stability while you learn and build your customer base. We provide training and support, and expect successful employees to progress toward consistently earning above the guarantee.

Training and Remote Setup

We provide

- A computer.
- Phone software and access to our inventory system.
- Training in automotive parts and our sales processes.
- Ongoing guidance and support from an experienced team.

You provide reliable internet and a quiet workspace where you can give customers your full attention.

Applicants may live anywhere in Canada, provided they can consistently work Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Saskatchewan time throughout the year.
