Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate products confidently, highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract attention and promote featured products
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions,



resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support store operations by adhering to phone etiquette, managing time effectively, and maintaining organizational standards

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, or technical sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey product information and build rapport
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including some saturdays, and additional shifts during quilt shows, retreats and classes if needed.
