Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications with speed and precision
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end




- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food products served
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed during shifts

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within the restaurant or food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing
- Robust time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced settings with a focus on upselling menu items effectively
