Role Overview The Scrum Master will provide subject matter expertise and guidance on project delivery methods while supporting Agile teams and project stakeholders. The role involves preparing training materials and sessions, implementing IT standards and guidelines, facilitating Agile practices, coaching teams, resolving impediments and conflicts, and helping teams continuously improve their delivery practices.

The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of Scrum and Agile expertise, business analysis capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and practical experience working within DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on specific project methods.
- Prepare training materials and training sessions on project delivery methodology in accordance with guidelines.
- Acquire, customize, document, integrate, communicate, and implement comprehensive IT standards and guidelines.
- Apply knowledge and experience with Agile Information and Information Technology (I⁢) methods and techniques associated with the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Facilitate relationships between Agile teams and Product Owners.
- Help maintain a secure and productive working environment by supporting conflict resolution.
- Lead Agile methodology practices and support development teams in self-organization.
- Identify and address gaps within the Agile framework.
- Mentor and coach teams on removing impediments.
- Capture feedback and document sprint reviews to support project goals and improve team performance.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and implement Scrum principles effectively across development teams.
- Model current and future business processes using BPMN and process flow diagrams.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and process documents.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and ensure high-priority work is well-defined and ready for development.
- Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations.
- Track and analyze Agile metrics, including Burndown Charts and Velocity, to improve team performance.
- Manage and balance stakeholder needs while maintaining alignment with development priorities.
- Resolve conflicts within teams and between stakeholders to support productivity and project delivery.

- Knowledge and experience with Agile I⁢ methods and techniques associated with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology with the ability to educate and coach others.
- Experience facilitating relationships between Agile teams and Product Owners.
- Experience leading Agile teams in self-organization.




- Experience mentoring and coaching teams to remove impediments.
- Experience capturing feedback and documenting sprint reviews.

Education Qualifications - 40%

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and business analysis frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and processes, particularly CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and support productivity in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience Qualifications - 30%

- Advanced certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst in a DevOps environment, bridging development and operations teams.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker or Kubernetes.
- Software development experience is advantageous and will support effective communication with technical teams.
- Experience in finance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred.

Requirements Skillset - 20%

- Scrum and Agile Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead Agile ceremonies and effectively implement Scrum principles across development teams.
- Business Process Modeling: Proficiency in modeling current and future business processes using BPMN and process flow diagrams.
- Requirements Gathering: Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable user stories and process documents.
- Backlog Management: Experience collaborating with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and ensure high-priority work is clearly defined and ready for development.
- Gap Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to conduct gap analysis, identify process improvement opportunities, and make recommendations.
- Agile Metrics Management: Ability to track and analyze Agile metrics, including Burndown Charts and Velocity, to improve team performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Expertise in balancing stakeholder requirements while maintaining alignment with development priorities.
- Conflict Resolution: Experience resolving conflicts within teams and between stakeholders to maintain productivity and project progress.

- Conflict Mediation: Ability to resolve conflicts within teams and with external stakeholders.
- Time Management and Multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile workplace.
- Emotional Intelligence: Robust empathy and interpersonal awareness to effectively manage team dynamics and relationships.

Desirable Skills

- Agile Coach certification.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or Yellow Belt certification.
- PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or Professional Scrum Master certification.
- Prior public-sector experience.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Onsite 5 days per week.
