Job Summary

Join the team at Wave Communication, a Rogers Authorized Dealer, as a Seasonal Sales Associate. We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and has an interest in mobile phones, wireless plans, and technology.

In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, helping customers choose the right phones, wireless plans, accessories, and services based on their needs. You will assist with new activations, upgrades, device purchases, and customer inquiries while providing an excellent overall experience.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, technology, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, personalized service
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Rogers plans, phones, and accessories
- Promote and sell wireless plans, devices, accessories, and other store products
- Assist customers with new activations, upgrades, renewals, and device purchases
- Explain wireless plans, features, pricing, promotions, and device options clearly
- Demonstrate phones and other products and explain their features
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets
- Upsell and recommend additional products and services when appropriate
- Process sales transactions, payments, and receipts accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, plans, and store policies
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, and maintaining an organized store
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, welcoming,



and professional store environment
- Follow Rogers and Wave Communication policies and procedures
- Support other day-to-day store operations as required

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous retail or sales experience is an asset but not required
- Wireless, telecommunications, or technology sales experience is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers and making sales recommendations
- Confident explaining products, plans, and technical features
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Positive organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer and POS skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and stay up to date with changing products and promotions
- Multilingual abilities are an asset
